Here he is in his D&D 5th Edition version. I featured him a while back for my Swords & Wizardry Warlock book which introduced both the warlock class and the goblin playable species. Nik Nak is a goblin fey-pact Warlock in service to the Goblin King. Once I settled on that then the choice of today's character was an easy one. One of those places in my town of West Haven. A place where everyone comes too on their way to new lands.
It makes me want to make my part of the world something akin to Elis Island of the Multiverse. Especially with the way I have been playing D&D 5 of late. Personally I like having all these different options in my games. And I can say I am not disappointed at all! While this collects a bunch of material for other books into one volume, I did want to wait to see what the options for new character races/species were. I hope this application will ease the transition into the wonderful role playing game, Dungeons and Dragons.I was waiting on today's Character Creation Challenge until I got my copy of Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse today. Ask your Dungeon Master for more guidance when you begin your first adventure! On the character sheet will be interactable elements that will return information when clicked on! In addition, a brief tutorial will begin that will guide the user through the basic D&D mechanics. Keep in mind that stat distributions will vary depending on the type of character you want to play. After the user has submitted the character creation form, a simple character sheet with random stats will be generated for you. Hopefully this application will streamline character creation by providing the user with digestible information. Character creation is often an overwhelming process for new players as there are so many customizable options due to the fantasy nature of D&D.
